We use a sliding fee scale based on your annual family gross income, ranging from $40-$130 per 60-minute session. We try to work with clients below the poverty level pro-bono and never turn anyone away because they cannot pay for counseling services. Many clients also ask their church to help with payment.
We do not take medical insurance because most insurance companies will not pay for Pastoral Counseling. However, as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, donations to help with counseling costs are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
If there are other financial circumstances with individuals and families who cannot afford counseling, we work closely with those clients (by providing your W-2) to provide counseling. Our commitment is clear: we do not turn anyone away because they cannot pay for counseling services.
Fees are due and payable when scheduling your counseling session. We encourage you to discuss other opportunities for payment of services, including asking your church for assistance. We're always willing to work with you to find a solution that makes counseling accessible.
